The Inkey List
The Inkey List is a UK based skincare company. According to their website: The INKEY List is a collection of 15 hero-ingredients selected and developed by us for their ability to address a number of skincare concerns with proven efficacy. In this post, we’ll be reviewing The Wake Up Duo.
The Inkey List: Wake Up Duo
This Duo consists of their Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum and their Caffeine Eye Cream. I bought mine from Sephora in the US; since it’s a Sephora Exclusive. However, the products are sold separately in Cult Beauty in the UK.
The duo retails for $15 and the value separately is about $18+ tax. As someone on a budget, I find these prices affordable. They’re basically the UK version of The Ordinary. I use this product twice a day and it lasts a little past a month, it definitely saves you $$/££.
Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum
Their Hyaluronic Acid is so far, my absolute favorite. I’ve been put off my Hyaluronic Acid’s before because the one I had purchased, was sticky and made my skin quite dry. The consistency in this duo is more liquid and once dry, is perfect for layering!
Hyaluronic Acid is one of those products that you can’t really see what it’s doing but when you stop using it, you can definitely feel the difference in your skin. It’s definitely a holy grail since it can be layered in both your day-time and night-time skincare routine.
Caffeine Eye Cream
I’ve used quite a few eye creams in my skincare journey. To be honest, I’ve always used (and recommended the use of) eye cream but I never got the hype. Most gave me milia under my eyes (still recovering), while others made absolutely no difference. However, I can definitely see the difference in my under eyes with the caffeine eye cream.
In these past months, I’ve been running two side gigs, whilst job searching and volunteering. To say “I’ve been busy” is an understatement. Since most of my businesses carter to UK audiences, the time difference is messing with my sleep. Thus, the bags under my eyes were struggling.
This eye cream managed to keep my under eyes moisturised and dark circles at bay. I never used to struggle with dark circles but my lack of sleep really affected this. I use this at the end of my skincare routine and it makes such a difference. If I go without sleeping and without using this, the struggle under my eyes is prominent. It has quickly become my all-time favourite under eye cream.
I genuinely haven’t found one that does the trick, at such a low price. I recommend this duo to everybody, in every price range. It’s so affordable and I can really see the difference it makes on my skin. I’ve already purchased this twice and it doesn’t fail me.
