Introduction by SKINWHIMS:
I work as a communications professional but in my free time, I talk about skincare, beauty and self-care.
What are your current skincare favourites + how do you incorporate these products in your everyday routine?
Right now, I’m really liking Retrouve’s Lumious Cleansing Balm. It’s like a liquified balm that melts into the skin and doesn’t leave any residue. Another is the Then I Met You’s Living Cleansing Balm, which is a hard balm that feels really nourishing to the skin. Yes, I’m currently in a cleansing balm bubble. I just really like how they feel on my skin.
Since, I have a 9-5 job, I wear makeup on most days. I don’t like using makeup remover as it feel a bit drying, even on my oily skin, so I turn to cleansing balms to remove the remains of the day.
Any holy grail skincare products?
I review a lot of products but there a mainstays in my routine like Innisfree’s Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing Foam, Drunk Elephant’s Baby Facial, Biologique Recherche’s Lotion P50, Sunday Riley’s Good Genes, Farmacy’s Honey Moon Glow. Belif’s Aqua Bomb, Laneige’s
Water Sleeping Mask, Caudalie’s Premier Cru Eye Cream, and Agent Nateur’s Holi(Oil). These products are the actives that help my skin clear, bright, and glowing, while the others help keep my skin hydrated and moisturised.
