Introduction by TLBOS
My name is Rebecca, I am 22 years old from Leeds, England and I run my blog The Little Blog of Skincare , alongside my personal Instagram. The Little Blog of Skincare was born out of an addiction to skincare and other beauty products. As well as, my need and want to try the latest trends. Social media has provided me with a platform to share my addiction and love for these products with like minded people and collaborate with some amazing bloggers and brands which I hope to continue in the future.
What are your current beauty favourites + how do you incorporate them into your everyday routine?
Firstly, although I love makeup, I am not the greatest and therefore have always valued a great primer or skin base for my makeup! There are so many options around the market/social media however I found my holy grail with Lunar Glow UK and their ‘Makeup Primer’. It retails for £10.00 from Lunar Glow. The primer is a light oil free (water based) serum formulated to even out skin tone while adding moisture. The primer absorbs rapidly into the skin and helps to even the appearance of lines and blemishes. I love this primer as it is not heavy on the skin and is the perfect base for my foundation (I use either ‘Rimmel Lasting Radiance Foundation’ in true ivory or for a night out the ‘Nars Sheer Glow Foundation’.
I am also loving the ‘Facial Mist’ in fragrance ‘Rosewater and Coconut’ from She Aromatherapy. Firsty, I love Coconut so I am already obsessed! Revitalising and hydrating facial mist with Rosewater and Coconut; a perfect pick me up spritz. I use this product after a morning shower on my face, neck and hair and before bed to refresh! This product retails at $12.95 (australian) and is available via She Australia. Product is also available in 3 other fragrances (Lavender & Aloe Vera, Orange Blossom & Honey and Jasmine & Green Tea Facial).
Any holy grail beauty products?
Starting off with a skincare product I love, would be the Palm Balm from Templespa. I love this product and how nourishing it is on the skin! I stayed in a hotel in London and received a sample and from then have been hooked! The product retails at £19.00 but is so worth it!!
Secondly a makeup product I use everyday!! I love doing warm toned eyeshadow and have found the perfect palette in the form of ‘Millennial’ from Memi Makeup. A 12 shade vegan and cruelty-free neutral eyeshadow palette that features ultra buttery matte and shimmer finishes. Travel friendly and housed in a luxe mirror compact, Millennial Eyeshadow Palette contains a full pigment formula to create professional, long wearing looks that you can dial down or amp up. The pigment rich, blendable formula boasts longevity and blends seamlessly onto eyelids with minimal fallout. This product retails for £22.00 as is available via Memi Makeup.
